It is an opioid narcotic analgesic, and its primary clinical use is in the management of mild to moderate pain. It is used for treating different kinds of pain. It is popularly known as Propoxyphene. Propoxyphene is usually combined with aspirin or some other simple pain killer in a single tablet or capsule.

Directions

For Women: if you are breastfeeding or pregnant, then consult the doctor before the use of this medicine. Do not completely stop the medicine all of a sudden, but if you plan to terminate its use, then adopt the smaller and smaller dose policy. In case, the patient is suffering from breathing problem, stomach or intestinal blockage, liver, kidney disease, then he/ she should consult the doctor before the use of medicine.

Possible side effects

Side effects that may occur while taking this medicine include physical addiction, confusion, convulsions, dizziness, low blood pressure, blurred vision and weakness. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.

If you take too much

In case of overdosage, the side effect problems may be observed.
